يوليو ٢٠٢١: نظم برنامج دعم الحوار السياسي الاجتماع الشهري لمجموعة شباب ذمار خلال الفترة ٧-٨ يوليو٢٠٢١ ، والذي عقد عبر تطبيق زووم وكانت الأهداف الرئيسية لاجتماع الفريق مناقشة آخر الأوضاع والمستجدات في مدينة ذمار ، ومراجعة آخر المستجدات بخصوص موضوع نقص اسطوانات غاز الطهي في المدينة التي يعمل الأعضاء عليها ، لتسليط الضوء على قضية الحوض المائي بذمار المهدد بالجفاف نتيجة الحفر العشوائي للآبار واستنزاف مياه الحوض لري القات ، والاستماع إلى رؤية الأعضاء حول كيفية المساهمة في معالجة هذه القضية لأهميتها الكبيرة وعواقب تجاهلها. كما تم تخصيص الاجتماع لمناقشة موضوع زيادة الإيجار على مستأجري العقارات في المدينة من أجل الخروج بمقترحات للأنشطة التي من شأنها أن تؤدي إلى وضع قوانين وأنظمة تنظم عملية الإيجار بين المؤجرين والمستأجرين في المدينة. وتشمل المخرجات الرئيسية للاجتماع تشكيل فريق خاص لدراسة وتحليل موضوع الحوض المائي بذمار لبحث منع الحفر العشوائي للآبار في المدينة وأثر ذلك على استنزاف مياه الحوض ، لمراجعة تقارير الأنشطة التي نفذتها المجموعة خلال الفترة السابقة ، ولوضع مسودة اقتراح بشأن قضية عدم وجود اسطوانات كافية لغاز الطهي المخصص لمدينة ذمار ، وكذلك سبب عدم توزيع أسطوانات الغاز على المواطنين لأكثر من شهرين وعواقب ذلك وتبني مبادرة من الفريق لتسليط الضوء على الارتفاع المستمر في إيجار العقارات في المدينة والقيام بحملات لوضع قواعد وأنظمة جديدة تنظم إيجارات العقارات بين الملاك والمستأجرين
July 2021: The Political Dialogue Support Programme (PDSP) organized the monthly meeting for Dhamar Youth Consultations Group (DYC) during 7-8 July 2021, which was held via ZOOM Application. The main objectives of the meeting of DYC were to discuss the latest situations and developments in the city of Dhamar, to review the latest update regarding the issue of lack of cooking gas cylinders in the city the members is working on, to shed light on the issue of water basin in Dhamar that is threatened by random drilling of wells and depleting basin’s water to irrigate Qat, and to listen to the vision of the members on how to contribute in addressing this issue due to its great importance and the consequences of ignoring it. Also, the meeting was allocated to discussing the issue of increasing rent on tenants of real estates in the city in order to come up with proposals for activities that would lead to creating laws and regulations organizing the renting process between lessors and tenants in the city. The main outcomes of the meeting include forming a special team to study and analyze the issue of water basin in Dhamar to discuss preventing random drilling of wells in the city and the impact of that on depleting the basin’s water, to review the reports of the activities carried out by DYC teams during the previous period, to make a draft proposal on the issue regarding not having adequate cylinders for cooking gas allocated for the city of Dhamar as well as why for more than two months there has not been gas cylinders distributed to citizens and the consequences of that. And to adopt an initiative by DYC in order to shed light on the constant rise in real estate rent in the city and campaigning to set up new rules and regulations organizing real estate rentals between landlords and tenants
