مايو 2023: نظمم برنامج دعم الحوار السياسي الاجتماع الشهري لمجموعة مشاورات عدن في 21 مايو 2023 في قاعة اجتماعات المنتدى في عدن. وعقد الاجتماع تحت عنوان: “قراءة متأنية لنتائج الاجتماع التشاوري للحوار الوطني الجنوبي”. وقد حرص العنوان على أن يعكس المعاني والأبعاد التي تؤكد حرص المجموعة على المتابعة الجادة للأحداث والمستجدات الجارية ، وتحديداً تداعيات هذا المؤتمر على عدن. وكان من أهداف الاجتماع استضافة السيد إدوارد جاكسون مدير مكتب المبعوث الأممي إلى اليمن في مدينة عدن في منتدى حواري حواري مع أعضاء المجموعة من أجل مناقشة أهم التطورات الجارية في الساحة اليمنية وخاصة على المستوى السياسي وتحديدا على مستوى الجنوب. ثم عقد ورشة عمل يشارك خلالها أعضاء اللجنة الاستشارية على مستوى الفرق الثلاثة في مناقشة مفتوحة وقراءة متأنية ومسؤولة لنتائج الاجتماع التشاوري الوطني الجنوبي الأول بين المكونات السياسية الجنوبية والقوى المجتمعية ، وإلى أي مدى تساهم هذه النتائج في وضع أول خطوة على طريق استعادة دولة الجنوب. تناوبت الفرق الثلاثة على تقديم نتائجهم من ورشة العمل، ومخاطبتهم أمام الجميع في مناقشة مفتوحة عامة لإثرائهم بملاحظات ووجهات نظر وآراء الأعضاء الآخرين من أجل إعادة كتابة النتيجة في شكلها النهائي؛ تأييده بالإجماع من قبل الأعضاء ودمجه في منتج واحد باسم المجموعة بنفس عنوان الاجتماع. تمت مناقشة عدة محاور تتعلق بالمؤتمر، لا سيما تناول الآثار والتداعيات ، وتحديداً فيما يتعلق بالأزمة اليمنية والحرب المستمرة ، ولعل أهمها ما يلي: عقد الاجتماع التشاوري الوطني الجنوبي الأول للمكونات السياسية الجنوبية والأحزاب والقوى المجتمعية. الإعلان عن وثيقة الميثاق الوطني الجنوبي ضمن أربع وثائق رئيسية كمخرجات للاجتماع التشاوري الوطني الجنوبي الأول ؛ زيارة المبعوث الأممي لليمن ومدينة عدن ولقائه برئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي، آخر إحاطة لمبعوث الأمم المتحدة إلى اليمن أمام مجلس الأمن الدولي ؛ تحركات دبلوماسية للسفير السعودي في اليمن بين الرياض ومدينتي صنعاء وعدن
May, 2023: The PDSP organized the Aden Consultations Group (AC) monthly meeting on 21 May, 2023 at the meeting hall of PDF in Aden. The meeting was held under the title: “A careful reading of the outcomes of the consultative meeting of the Southern National Dialogue”. The title was keen to reflect the meanings and dimensions that affirm the keenness of the AC in serious follow-up of current events and developments, specifically the repercussions of this conference on Aden. One of the goals of the meeting was hosting Mr. Edward Jackson, Director of the Office of the UN Envoy to Yemen in the city of Aden, in a dialogue discussion forum with members of the AC group in order to discuss the most important developments taking place in the Yemeni arena, especially at the political level, and specifically at the level of the south; then, to hold a workshop, during which the AC members at the level of the three teams participate in an open discussion in an atmosphere of consensus and unanimity to provide a careful and responsible reading on the outcomes and results of the first southern national consultative meeting of the southern political components and societal forces, and to what extent these outcomes contribute in the setting up of the first step on the road towards restoring the state of the South. The three teams took turns presenting their outcomes from the workshop, addressing them before all in a plenary open discussion to enrich them with observations, viewpoints, and opinions of the other members in order to rewrite an outcome in final form; its unanimous endorsement by the AC members and merging that into a single product in the name of the group with the same title of the meeting. Several aspects were discussed pertaining to the conference, especially dealing with effects and repercussions, specifically regarding the Yemeni crisis and ongoing war, perhaps the most important of which are as follows: The convening of the first southern national consultative meeting of the southern political components and parties and societal forces; Announcing the Southern National Charter document among four main documents as outputs from the first Southern National Consultative Meeting; The visit of the UN envoy to Yemen and to the city of Aden, and his meeting with the President of the Presidential Leadership Council; The latest briefing of the UN envoy to Yemen before the UN Security Council; Diplomatic movements of the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen between Riyadh and the cities of Sana’a and Aden
