فبراير 2024: نظم برنامج دعم الحوار السياسي اللقاء الشهري لمجموعة مشاورات عدن في 20 فبراير 2024، وقد خصص اللقاء لمناقشة “موقف عدن في ظل التغيير الوزاري الجديد”. وكانت الأهداف الرئيسية للاجتماع عقد ورشة عمل يشارك الأعضاء من الفرق الثلاثة في عصف ذهني ونقاش تشاركي حول تعزيز موقع ومكانة مدينة عدن كعاصمة مؤقتة في ظل التغيير الوزاري الجديد؛ وعقد ورشة عمل حول التداعيات والآثار على مختلف المستويات على مدينة عدن، الناجمة عن دخول قرار الإدارة الأمريكية بتصنيف جماعة أنصار الله كمنظمة إرهابية دولية حيز التنفيذ، وتحديداً ما سيكون لذلك من تداعيات على الاقتصاد الوطني وميناء عدن؛ واستضافة العميد أبو بكر جبر، نائب مدير عام أمن مدينة عدن، في منتدى حواري لمناقشة مفتوحة حول الوضع الأمني بشكل عام على مستوى مدينة عدن.
February, 2024: The Political Dialogue Support Programme (PDSP) organized the monthly meeting of Aden Consultations Group on 20 February, 2024. The meeting was allocated for the discussion of “The position of Aden considering the new ministerial change.” The main objectives of the meeting were holding a workshop, where the AC members of the three teams participated in brainstorming and participatory discussion on strengthening the location and status of the city of Aden as a temporary capital considering the new ministerial change; holding a workshop about the repercussions and impacts at various levels on the city of Aden, resulting from the US administration’s decision to designate Ansar Allah group as an international terrorist organization entered into force, specifically what repercussions that would have on the national economy and the port of Aden; and hosting Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, Deputy Director General of Aden City Security, in a dialogue forum for an open discussion about the security situation in general at the level of the city of Aden.
